1- If you find a flaw or exploit in the game, do not use it, instead,
report it, and it can be looked at further in a test environment.
Exploits can ruin the game, so lets work together and make sure they get
fixed. An example of an exploit would be things like:
- Ways to make tons of gold or obtain items with little to no effort (scripting is a large culprit here)
- Server script exploits that let you do things you should not (like dupe items, run faster, etc)
- Ways to cause the server to crash

- Do not make fake exploit/bug reports or start conspiracies about
someone using an exploit in hopes they get banned, or even making a fake
"hacker" character to stir up trouble. If you think a bug exists and is
serious, be ready to fully explain it when approaching staff. If you
are asked questions and go around it, we will assume you don't want to
disclose the bug but want to use it instead. If you suspect someone may
be using an exploit PM staff, do not try to start a huge commotion on
the forums, and do not make a character name the same as the suspect to
try to stir things up. This is grounds for permanent ban.

Harassment of any player in regards to sex, religion, ethnic background
or for any other reason we deem unfit will not be tolerated. If it is
found that the person complaining about the harassment in any way
provoked or egged on the behavior, they will also be subject to
punishment.
4. If you find yourself in a situation that you do
not want to be in, remove yourself. Staff will not moderate squabbles
between players and/or guilds. If you complain of harassment, and it is
found that you did not try to remove yourself from the situation by
every means possible (including ignoring that player on the chat system
and in the client), your request will be ignored.
5. Spam:
Repeated use of the in game paging system, website, or public forums to
bring attention to a specific problem/situation, multiple
problems/situations, or to falsely report a player for harassment may
result in the suspension or removal of your account from our system.
This includes but is not limited to any repeated action that the staff
feels is applicable to this policy.
6. You may not sell, trade,
or purchase Black Gate UO game accounts or items for real life money,
money equivalents, or other items outside Black Gate UO. You may not
advertise, discuss, or coordinate such exchanges. If you choose to
interact with someone on any of our services and give out personal
information of any kind, you do so at your own risk.
7. Using our
service to try to set up real life meetings, or to advertise, sell, or
coordinate the sale or purchase of real life items is strictly
forbidden.
8. The use of any hack, bug, or exploit is strictly
forbidden. Staff reserves the right to decide whether any of these
offenses has taken place. If you find a bug or exploit, we ask that you
please immediately report it to staff and discontinue any use or mention
of it. Users found to be spreading information about how bugs or
exploits work will also be punished.
9. You may not use the game or the website (including forums) to advertise for other servers/services.
10. Running AFK macros that involve the Duel Pits is not permitted.
11. You may not attempt to impersonate staff, or solicit account information from other players.

There is a limit of 3 accounts per person. If you have more then 3
accounts due to previous rules, be sure to consolidate into 3, or give
away other accounts, or simply take the items and let them decay. If we
find you have more then 3 accounts you will be given notice to
consolidate into 3 by 24-48 hrs. After such time has past We will pick one to delete!

Situational punishment: There are no strictly defined punishments for
any offense on our system. All punishments are decided by the staff
members overseeing the situation. If we decide that a situation not
listed here is in violation of our system policies in any way, shape or
form, we reserve the right to suspend or remove your account from our
system.
14. The administration at Black Gate UO reserves the
right to define any offense as harmful to the game and worthy of
suspension or removal of your account. The rules listed here describe
the more likely situations only; just because an activity is not listed
here does not mean you should do it.

uses your account or user id (intentionally or not), and you are
