This was from around 3am last night. With me in 2nd, "comfortably". Makver, Serenity, Browncow points all are close to this video, but despite me having more points than the other 2 placers, I didn't place at all. Is there another way winners are determined? kill/point/death ratio don't matter in this system they were pretty far off from u so idk how they pasted u in that short period on time but it is posible

They didn't pass me though. I was 20k+ points that night, and they never passed me according to the results. The winners were the following, with the following points:
1st: Makver, 31,019 points, 105691 kills, 46 deaths
2nd: Browncow, 18,831 points, 28912 kills, 23 deaths
3rd: Serenity, 15,235 points, 3588 kills, 2 deaths
From what I had last night in my stream recording, I should have easily taken 2nd :'c

Its looking at the board its self to get the points. It just goes off of your points, deaths have nothing to do with it nor does kills. So instead of looking that the xmlpoints attachment your character has it looked at the board. If the server is reset (which it was to update the rewards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd got) the board wipes it's self for some reason. Which it shouldn't do, we are looking into why it's doing it and will be addressing the issue.
You don't really lose any points points when it does wipe. You just have to go kill one mob and your back on there.
